ELEDA CUMSA marks another milestone in the process of specialisation within the CUMSA Group.
CUMSA’s experience in the design and manufacture of injection molds along with the research, development and manufacture of highly innovative standard mold parts has allowed them to focus attention on a strategic area of the plastic injection industry: part traceability and production control.

CUMSA has entrusted ELEDA CUMSA, their company specialised in this area, the design development, production and consolidation of new electronic-automatic management systems for the “In-Mold” marking of plastic parts.

The objective is to offer the moulder and end customer the most advanced and competitive methods available to permit them:

• The possibility of marking moulded parts in reduced time periods in a profitable way with intervals between information changes as low as 1 minute or even with its own serial number.
• Allowing precise production parameter control for each batch of parts enabling easier quality control.
• The drastic reduction of lost production through the identification of potential batch defects using increased differentiation in the parts.
